It's not just a race: It's an event. That's the idea behind this year's Grand Prix of Houston, with the title race capping off three days of vroom-vroom and other activities at Reliant Park. The Grand Prix itself will be contested on a temporary 1.7 mile course that wraps around the Astrodome and Reliant Stadium, and the nighttime start is the first ever for a Champ Car event. Prior to the big finish, the weekend will include the American Le Mans Lone Star Grand Prix on Friday night, plus other races, autograph sessions with drivers, musical entertainment, a boxing card at Reliant Arena, and more. Some attractions require a separate ticket, so do your homework before you head out.
