Brazos Ranch Apartments, will sit on a 16.2 acre site at 7404 Town Center Blvd. in Rosenberg, and will include 14, 22-unit apartment buildings.
The apartments will range from 574 square feet to 1,582 square feet and rental rates will range from $600 to $1,500 a month.
Construction began in February and the first phase of the gated complex will open this summer.
Judwin Properties expects to attract both short-term and long-term residents and will also offer furnished and corporate apartments.

He adds that homebuyers that are building in one of the neighboring master-planned communities may need to rent short-term.

The centerpiece of the project is a 10,000-square-foot community center with Wi-Fi access and amenities including a multi-function pool, half-court indoor basketball gym, fitness center, theater with stadium seating for 18 people and a game room with a billiards table.
Other multifamily projects developed by Houston-based Judwin Properties include Cornerstone Ranch and Ashley House in Katy and El Dorado, The Hamptons and The Regatta in the Clear Lake area.
Located southwest of Houston and serving the cities of Rosenberg and Richmond in Fort Bend County, Brazos Town Center will comprise a 140-acre retail center with 25 pad sites; 600 high-end apartments; 330 single-family homes; 251 patio homes; 152 townhomes and a complex of professional office buildings.
In October 2006, Target will open a 127,000-square-foot store in the center. A 12-screen Cinemark theater is scheduled to open in May.
A Home Depot and a Chili's Grill & Bar are already open on the site.
