Arthur Agatston, South Beach diet craze cardiologist built a home in 2009 on a $4.2 million dollar lot in Florida's Sunset islands. He is now looking to sell if for $23 million!
In case you’re not a fad dieter, the South Beach Diet hit the market in 2003 and within the first year there were 10 million South Beach Diet books in print.
With some of that crazy diet book money, Agatston and his wife Sari purchased the lot at 1633 N. View Drive for $4.2 million in 2005.
The mansion includes six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and three partial bathrooms. There’s a spacious multipurpose room for entertaining diet-restricted guests adjacent to the kitchen, a media room and a sitting room.
The Sunset Islands are one of the four man-made islands outside Miami Beach, and are protected by 24-hour security.
